About RYMC
Rebel Yell was born out of the desire of its founders to create a more “old school” style motorcycle club. Through years of combined experience in another MC, the founders made the decision to create a new Club without the encumbrances of past
failed policies and attitudes. Failures in leadership can lead to stagnation in growth at best, or worse, the loss of a club’s identity. As national officers in that muti-state MC, the founders of Rebel Yell Motorcycle Club, Preston “Doc” Parsons and Jim “TC” MacLean, experienced this first-hand and now strive to take RYMC in a more exciting direction.
Sharing in the vision of the founders, the RYMC “Originals” also include James Thunder Miller, Thomas “Dogman” Kulcher and Steven” Cruiser” Pappas. All of these Originals are also former officers of that national club, bringing to the Rebel Yell MC table a
wealth of experience and knowledge. Rebel Yell Motorcycle Club represents an overt nod to the rebel spirit that has existed in those who have stood against tyranny in every form since the dawn of time.
As to the actual “rebel yell” itself, its many variations hale from multiple sources and time periods in America and other countries as well. In America, the land we so love, respect and protect, its use well predates even the Revolutionary War. Our own Native Americans, the “Indians”, were well known to have developed various tribal war cries, emulated later by many of our own American soldiers in both the Revolutionary and Civil wars. From Europe came the Celtic war cries, from Arabia, haunting ululations, from Africa, the often-frightening war cries of various tribes… in fact, from all over the world these cries have fortified the resolve of armies and often terrified.
We of the RYMC are American men who possess this same rebel spirit and are guided by it in their personal lives. RYMC members see that this “rebel spirit” is desperately needed today as society is so emphatically attempting to “tame the savages” by use of labels like toxic masculinity and often effeminized images of men, suggesting that to be a strong man is somehow misogynistic. WE REJECT THAT.
Established December 27th, 2024, RYMC, first and foremost is a group of men who love motorcycles and the biker lifestyle. We offer the camaraderie and brotherhood that is sadly absent in mainstream society. We meet, we ride, we celebrate victories and learn from losses, all the while maintaining loyalty to the Club, our Brothers and our associated liberties and freedoms.
RYMC IS A MOTORCYCLE CLUB (MC). We are independent, with no affiliations with any other club. We wish to respect all other clubs and those who share the wind with us, while earning their respect in return. We have taken a step away from the
“three-piece patch”, not out of disrespect for those who currently wear one, but from our belief that the three-piece patch or, say, the traditional MC cube, are not what makes “a club, a club”. We created our unique patch to represent who we are, not who we want to emulate.
